My plan is to discover new people and new places, along with a few brew pubs as well.
I spent this past year unemployed. I won’t say, “I am out of work.”
I worked harder this past year than I have in a long time. I just didn’t get a paycheck.
I made several road trips back to the plains with younger children to visit older children (I have 8 kids).
I even squeezed in a trip or two with my husband of 30 years.
As I begin 2011 I am in my 50th year of life.
I remain unemployed & for the most part the closets, cabinets, & household affairs are still in order.
I have decided its time to step out & explore.
At one time, many decades ago, I dreamed of traveling, writing, and capturing life from behind the lens of a camera.
It is time to follow my dreams.
I may not have the means, or the ability to travel far & wide,
but I can certainly travel & explore this great state I now call home.
I can still write & I can still use a camera.
It is time for this shy Kansas girl to step out, start following her dreams, & embrace the adventure ahead.
